Mr Roherer writes an amazing true story about the creation of one of the worlds largest mission organizations for children. The story takes you from before Jesse Overholtzer (the founder of Child Evangelism Fellowhship®) birth and ends with the continuation of CEF and its growth in the world. Inside the pages of this book you will find Jesse struggle for salvation as a child become demoralized when his parents tell him he could not come to know the Lord as a child, the struggle to break denominational ranks, and the burden that Jesse had for children that where in similar situations. The book ends with the reader seeing how CEF has grown and now reaches over 10 million children worldwide through multiple ministries. I suggest this book to Christians who have a burden for children and ones that have a problem with children coming to know Christ.

About Author: Norman Rohrer grew up in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. The author received his journalism training from Wheaton College and holds an M. Div from Grace Theological Seminary. He is an established author with books that have been published by Moody Press, Tyndale House and Fleming H Revell Company. He also was a writer in for the Child Evangelism magazine. His wife and children have been active in CEF for many years.

Child Evangelism Fellowship has put together a resource bible that helps children ministry workers every where. The current addition is in the New King James Version. The bible has teacher training sections, thousands of footnotes, and the most useful of all is the lesson outlines. Their lesson outlines take narratives inside the bible and use them to present evangelical lessons that could lead a child to the saving knowledge of Christ. The book is used through out their mission organization all over the world. I would recommend this for children workers and Sunday school workers. I would not suggest this for youth or adult workers.
