Hello to those that are reading this blog. My name is Kyle Latchaw. The purpose of this blog is to allow the experience that I have in analyzing books through a biblical perspective to help point people to a book that may help them grow closer to God. What makes me specifically qualified to go through these books with a discerning eye? Simple, the Holy Spirit that lives in me.
My educational background is that I have completed my B.S in Religion from Liberty University and I am currently completing my M. Div from Liberty University in Theological Study. I have been an avid reader of many Christian books for the past 9 years reading about 10 to 20 books a year.
My life experiences include: living in three separate continents surround from every religion known to man. I have served in the U.S. Army as a medic and have been deployed to Iraq. I have been stationed in Japan while I was in the service. I currently work as a missionary with Child Evangelism Fellowship reaching boys and girls in the state of Ohio. My wife's name is Melissa and I have one child Judah who is growing with a speed like no other.
I pray that those reading this blog who know the Jesus can use what I review to help them grow closer to God. All that I have gone through is not a chip on my shoulder or to boast, but to simply state that God is in control. I pray that you read many godly books, but never read so many books that you do not have time for God's Word. Grace and peace to you my brothers and sisters.
