Systematic Theology An Introduction to Biblical Doctrine

By Wayne Grudem

Systematic Theology: An Introduction to Biblical Doctrine - By: Wayne Grudem
Dr. Wayne Grudem's Systematic Theology does one thing that many other books of its kind does not. Dr. Grudem spends very little amount of his book proving God's existence. He presupposes the existence of God and move directly on to doctrine. Personally the first systematic theology book I read that uses laymen terms so that a beginner in this field of study can understand what is being said. It is laid out in a simple 54 chapter structure that would be great for any serious bible study. I would suggest this book to people beginning to study systematic theology. I would not suggest it for an occasional reader due to length.

About Author: Dr. Wayne Grudem holds a B.A in Economics from Harvard, M. Div from Westminster Seminary and PhD from Cambridge. He taught for twenty years at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and is currently the research professor of Bible and Theology at Phoenix Seminary. Notable works include Recovering Biblical Manhood and Womanhood and ESV Study Bible. He was general editor of the English Standard Bible.
